The
family celebrated that New Year at home as the most of American families
did. This was Millennium. The children expected to get the best gifts.
Their friends wanted from Santa Claus different toys, disks, notebooks,
laptops, cloth items, and others. And the sisters dreamed about laboratory
glassware. Santa Claus arrived in time holding a big bag with a number
of gifts for everybody of the family. The family had invited some friends.
There were gifts for them in Santa Claus's bag too. Santa Claus was
especially generous that time. Then the three sisters found a lot of
gifts under the New Year tree. There was the best gift respected by
the girls in the modest box under the New Year tree. This was the whole
set of real laboratory tools. This set came with all the basic equipment
needed for chemistry projects. These real laboratory tools included
durable glass beakers, graduated cylinders for measuring liquids, a
flask, wick nonalcoholic lamp and stand, test tubes and stand, thermometer,
tubing pinch clamp, glass tubes, rubber stoppers, and pH papers. The
instruction applied to the gift announced that it was for children
of 12 years old and up. This was a great set to order with a boxed
chemistry kit so kids could have the experience of working with real
laboratory glassware instead of just a few plastic cups and tubes!
These three sisters are very friendly. At that time they were the same.
So the girls permitted their friends to play “laboratory” with
them. |
